Art Clay is an Art Medium consisting of very small metal particles such as silver, gold, bronze, or copper. Mixed with an organic binder and water to make jewelry, beads, and small sculptures. After drying, the clay can be fired in a kiln or using a handheld gas torch. The binder burns away, leaving pure sintered metal. The shrinkage is between 8% and 15% depending on the clay.
