Meet Iliana Carrillo – Master Instructor, Art Clay World America
Discover the art of silver metal clay with Iliana Carrillo, a Master Instructor with Art Clay World America and Mexico. With over 19 years of teaching experience, Iliana is a bilingual (Spanish/English) Certified Distributor Instructor with Aida Chemical Co. Ltd. in Japan, holding advanced certifications in Origami, Quilling, and Mokume-Gane techniques. She is also a Certified Instructor with Hadar’s Clay and PMC.
Iliana teaches both beginner and advanced metal clay techniques and offers official Art Clay World certification workshops. She owns and operates fully equipped metal clay studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mexico City, where she hosts hands-on workshops in a welcoming, creative environment. She also teaches regularly at Santa Fe Community College, and the University of New Mexico Continuing Education program.
A passionate educator and advocate for accessible learning, Iliana authored one of the first instructional books on silver clay written in Spanish: “Silver Metal Clay – Introducción a la Arcilla de Plata.”
